Prepare the Brand’s Shipment Handover File
A shipment handover file brings together the information needed after the order leaves the factory. It should make the transition to the carrier and the receiving team clear.
Define the working document
Confirm the recipient details, destination, SKU quantities and packing breakdown. Record the agreed commercial terms and which transport charges are included. Ask whether the proposed carrier service is available for the shipment at the time of booking.
Connect the approval points
Separate the stock dispatch target from estimated transit and clearance time. Custom production needs its own confirmed schedule. Keep tracking and packing references connected so the receiving team can match cartons with the order.
Keep the handover traceable
Share the handover information with the person receiving the goods and keep an inspection copy. Document visible transit damage and count discrepancies promptly. A well-prepared file does not guarantee an arrival date, but it removes avoidable uncertainty about what was shipped.
